Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
This website makes use of the online advertising program Google AdWords and, within the framework of Google AdWords, of conversion tracking. The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended for personal identification. When the user visits specific pages of this website and the cookie has not expired yet, Google and the software network can detect that the user has clicked on the advertisement and has been transferred to this website. Each Google AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. It is thus not possible to trace cookies via the websites of AdWords customers. The purpose of the information gathered using conversion cookies is to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers that opted for conversion tracking. The customers receive information on the total number of users that clicked on their advertisement and were transferred to a site provided with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that allows for identifying the user personally. Users that do not wish to participate in tracking can easily disable the cookie of the Google conversion tracker by changing the user settings of their web browser.
