It is not only the city centre which offers places of interest. When the city threatened to burst its boundaries, the aristocracy and the bourgeoisie began moving out beyond the city wall (approximately the site of today’s Ringstrasse). Historic structures, Baroque palaces, Art Nouveau villas and modern buildings—in conjunction with the history of the inhabitants and the immigrants—have left their mark on every one of the 23 districts of the city. These tours are of particular interest if you are intending to relocate to Vienna and are looking for the right neighbourhood in which to settle.
